#The Couch Game
Description:
In this engaging game, players form a circle with four of them seated on a couch or chairs placed inside the circle, leaving a free space to the right of one participant. This game utilizes the random merging of players to create an engaging, dynamic experience. The goal is to get four people from your specified team (e.g., boys/girls, kids/leaders, middle school/high school) to occupy the couch.
Instructions:
- Players initially sit in a circular formation with four seats, potentially a couch or chairs, within the circle. Ensure there is an open seat to the right of one person within the circle.
- Every player writes their name on a piece of paper.
- Collect all the pieces of paper and shuffle them around.
- Redistribute the papers, so each player ends up with a random name, which may not be their own.
- The game begins with the person seated to the left of the open space calling out the name written on their piece of paper.
- The player holding the called name (not necessarily the player whose name it is) stands up from their current place and moves to occupy the free space.
- Repeat the process until four people from a predetermined team occupy all the couch/chair spaces. This team is declared the winner.
