Scavenger Hunt

Description:

Participations:

  • Number, letter, or symbol tokens
  • Maps or activity sheets detailing the rough location of each token for each group
  • An answer key

Preparation:

Start by planning the locations for your scavenger hunt tokens. Distribute these tokens around your chosen campsite or activity site, placing them in the areas marked on your map. For extra challenge, hide them in difficult-to-spot locations, such as stairs, or behind signs.

Instructions:

  1. Divide the participants into groups.
  2. Provide each group with a map and activity sheet.
  3. If necessary, display a sample token to clarify what they're looking for.
  4. Set a time limit for the activity.
  5. Send the groups off on their hunt to locate the tokens.
  6. Award groups with points for each correctly identified token they find.
  7. Deduct points if a group arrives back late.

The main goal of this game is to develop time management skills and encourage teamwork.

Target group:

Scavenger Hunt is best suited for teenagers and young adults, as children may need assistance to complete the activity.
