Human Battleship

Game Materials

  • Marking Devices (e.g., Masking tape or cones)
  • Screen (An opaque object with a large surface area, e.g., a blanket or screen)

Formation

The game requires two teams.

How to Play

  1. Players are divided into two teams.
  2. Place a barrier (room divider/screen) in the center of the room.
  3. Create a grid on both sides of the barrier using masking tape or another marking method, such as cones.
  4. Mark each square of the grid with a unique combination of a number and a letter, representing the x and z axes, respectively.
  5. Players now sit in boat formations on each side of the barrier.
  6. Teams take turns collectively selecting coordinates to "hit" on the opponent's grid, similar to the traditional game of Battleship.
  7. Any "sunk" players, those who have been successfully hit, are then given the opportunity to select coordinates to "hit" on the opposing team's grid on behalf of their own team.
