Telephone Charades

Game Description

Telephone Charades is a fun-filled activity involving five or six people who volunteer or are selected to be part of the game. The participants line up in a row, all facing towards the left side of the room. The first person in line is shown a clue to act out, which is also displayed to the audience.

The gameplay begins with the first person acting out the clue in the style of classic charades, meaning no talking or making noises. After performing the act, this person taps the shoulder of the next person in line, who then acts out their interpretation of what was just performed. This play continues down the line until it reaches the last person, who takes on the job of guessing the clue based on the previous person's act.

What makes this game humorous is that the conveyed action tends to twist and distort based on each person’s interpretation, causing unplanned hilarity.

Variation

For an additional twist, you can have two teams perform the same clue simultaneously. The team that interprets the clue most correctly secures the round's win.
