Yeet Ball
Yeet Ball is a fun and exciting game that doesn't require advanced basketball skills; instead, it involves strategy and quick actions. While being skilled at basketball can provide a slight advantage, it is not necessary to enjoy the game.
At the start of the game, assign a sequence number to each player to determine the "yeeting" order.
The first player goes to the free-throw line and attempts a shot.
If successful, they then grab the ball again and attempt a layup. Upon succeeding at the layup, everyone else must freeze. The "yeeter" then takes two strides or leaps and throws the ball at any other player.
If the "yeeter" hits another participant, that person is eliminated.
However, if the "yeeter" misses either the free throw or the layup, the next person in line must obtain the ball before its third bounce, or they are eliminated. This introduces the strategy of the "yeet" tactic, where the player can decide to throw the ball as hard as possible to create difficulty for the next player.
An airball (a shot that does not hit the rim or backboard) automatically disqualifies the "yeeter".
Once inside the paint, the "yeeter" is not allowed to aim for the sides or the back of the backboard.
After catching the ball, the player is only allowed two steps before they must "yeet" the ball.
While the game best thrives in outdoor settings, it can also adapt well to indoor environments.
